Tessa Brooks
Professional Swimming Teacher

Professional Profile
Experienced one-to-one swimming instruction in private and small group settings
I am an experienced swimming teacher with a lifelong background in swimming, and more than 20 years of private one-to-one teaching experience.
My approach combines strong technical swimming ability with a natural ability to teach and to build confidence in the water.
Swimming has been part of my life since childhood. I began as a competitive swimmer, competing at national level. From my teenage years onward, I continued to teach privately whenever the opportunity arose, initially simply because I enjoyed helping people develop a skill I knew so well. Over the years, this grew into a long-standing private teaching practice. I hold a current SEQ Level 2 in Teaching Swimming qualification, completed through the Institute of Swimming, together with the NRASTC lifesaving qualification. These ensure my teaching is underpinned by current professional training.
Currently open to work with private swimming providers, clubs, spas, and other organizations offering high-quality swimming instruction.
